80′s/90′s pop legend Richard Marx covers Katy Perry’s latest hit “The One That Got Away” and puts his own unique flair into the song. Katy’s hit song was AOL Music’s “Song of the Day”. Here’s what Richard Marx told AOL Music
“I’m not really a ‘covers’ kind of guy, but I was listening to KP’s album in my car and kept playing this song over and over,” Richard tells AOL Music. “The production is perfect for Katy. Max Martin always nails it. But I also felt there was another approach that would be show off the song itself a bit more. So I went into my studio and did this … wrote a string chart … but kept production very limited. Plus … I was bored that day!”

Katy Perry teamed up with Eylure and created a line of faux eye lashes. Katy had this to say about her new line “I’ve worn Eylure lashes all the way through my tour and really loved them,” the pop singer stated. “When it came to having a range of my own, I wanted everyone to have a great experience with my lashes. As they have such an amazing history and great quality, Eylure was really the best choice for me to work with.”
Katy’s new line of eyelashes will come in four different styles — “Sweetie Pie”, “Oh Honey!”, “Cool Kitty” and “Oh, My!”. The lashes will go on sale on Valentine’s Day and will retail reasonably at $6.99 per set. You can see the line of lashes at your local ULTA stores and on ulta.com this coming February 14th.

Katy Perry’s “Oh, My!” Lashes: “This style is full of texture, but they’re very lightweight.”

Katy Perry’s “Oh, Honey!” Lashes: “I love the vintage flick at the corners that this lash gives me!…They’re full, fun, and great for both daytime and evening wear.”

Katy Perry’s “Sweetie Pie” Lashes: “This is a great lash for anyone who wants to try false lashes for the first time…It’s sweet and subtle, but adds just the right amount of length and volume.”

Katy Perry’s “Cool Kitty” Lashes: “These are some of my favorite lashes! The well-manicured tips make them perfect for evening wear…It can add the ideal finishing touch for a smoky look that will make people purr as you pass.”
